2025 Honda Prologue

Overview
Honda finally entered the EV segment with acclaim with the Prologue last year, and it didn't disappoint. Longer and wider than its closest sibling, the CR-V, the Prologue takes full advantage with a low, hunkered-down look that just oozes sportiness. Inside, the Prologue boasts an uncluttered design that puts ergonomics first. The airy cabin also boasts a tremendous amount of cargo space with an available power liftgate for that touch of convenience. You’ll find the Prologue in EX, Touring, and Elite trims, with the latter solely available in AWD form.

What’s New For 2025?
Updates for the second model year of the Prologue focus on power and range. A new front-mounted electric motor boosts power on all models with 220 horsepower for front wheel drive models and 300 horsepower for AWD models. Range for the FWD Prologue increases to 308 miles, and AWD models are now rated at 294 miles of range.
Who’s It For?
The first adopter with a practical side. Smart technology can be found throughout the 2025 Honda Prologue’s cabin, including the Google Built-in feature with handy apps like Google Assistant and Google Maps. Using the 11.3-inch touchscreen display gets even easier thanks to the finger rest feature, designed to give users a steadier hand. You’ll also find USB-C charging ports throughout the cabin, especially near the Prologue’s expansive multi-use tray, located within the EV’s two-tier center console. A console-mounted shifter also helps free up space, lending an airy look and feel to an already spacious EV. Choose the Elite trim and you’ll find yourself supported by comfortable, ventilated seats trimmed in perforated leather with accent-colored stitching. An available heated steering wheel helps knock off the chills on those frosty mornings.
Real-World Performance
The 2025 Honda Prologue starts out with a single electric motor powering the front wheels, coupled with an 85-kilowatt-hour battery. Models equipped with 4WD automatically gain a dual-motor setup with an additional motor powering the rear wheels. The result is 300 total horsepower and a rather healthy 355 pound-feet of torque at your command. Those who want more range and less power will still be pleased with the front-wheel drive model, which produces up to 220 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque.
The Active Sound Control feature reminds you of your forward progress through a variety of low-to-high frequency sounds played depending on acceleration and deceleration. If you want a more engaging drive, simply switch to Sport mode, and enjoy firmer handling, enhanced throttle and steering response, and an increase in braking power, among other perks.
