MileOneCares Gives $420K in Vehicle Grants

MileOneCare’s Vehicle-Matching Grants are awarded to nonprofits who are struggling with transportation issues. This program provides a resource and an opportunity to secure suitable, reliable, and affordable vehicles to meet the organization’s transit needs for the safety, comfort, and dignity of the clients they serve. Those who receive these grants are responsible for raising funds for 50% of the cost of the vehicle and MileOneCares provides funding for the other half.
Read on to learn more about how these grants are impacting lives in the communities where we live and work.
Athletes Serving Athletes (ASA) holds races and events in Maryland for athletes with limited mobility.
